Paper-trading disclosures
Important product, risk, and privacy information
TradeMaker is research and paper-trading software. These disclosures explain simulated results, optional provider connections, and the limits that remain available anywhere the product is offered.
Risk disclosure
All orders, positions, gains, losses, scores, and performance shown by TradeMaker are simulated. They do not represent an actual account, a brokerage fill, or a promise of future results.
Simulated results are affected by assumptions such as data quality and timing, fees, spreads, slippage, liquidity, order size, market impact, and execution rules. Actual results can differ materially, including loss of principal.
TradeMaker does not custody money or securities and is not a broker. An eligible user may choose to authorize a separate Alpaca paper or live account through the provider's authorization flow. A live connection requires successful account verification and the account owner's explicit confirmation before any separately requested order can be sent.
Terms of use
TradeMaker is research and simulation software, not investment, legal, tax, or accounting advice. It does not provide personalized recommendations or make decisions for you.
Read the Terms of Service, including subscription, cancellation, acceptable-use, and liability terms.
Privacy and data requests
TradeMaker processes the account and workspace information needed to provide authenticated paper-trading access, secure the service, support customers, and maintain audit records. A user-authorized provider connection is stored separately from workspace data and is not required to use paper-trading features.
